A delicate game of balances and a continuous dialogue between ancient and modern; the aim is that the project accurately conveys the historical spirit of a prestigious residence, harmonizing it with the modern and elegant taste of the new owners, a young couple of Swiss origins. 

These are the ingredients of the restoration project of Villa Orsi, a 19th century residence, located in the small tourist resort of Cannero Riviera, on the shores of Lake Maggiore.

The works freed the Villa from poor quality interventions carried out in the 1970s, restoring the original symmetrical composition to the northern façade, with the portico and the terrace, redeveloping the bathrooms and the new kitchen, separated from the dining room with a of wardrobes open on both sides. 

The surveys carried out on the homogeneous colors of the ceilings of the various rooms made it possible to bring to light very valuable themes, widespread on almost all the ceilings, as well as on the external facades. 

The newly revealed colors and decorations, the wooden and Venetian floors, some original furnishings, in an ideal and balanced counterpoint, were the theme on which the modern line of interior design was inserted: in the definition of colours, materials and finishes, up to exclusive furnishings.
