Located on the shores of Lake Maggiore in a period building, this 110m2 apartment needed a complete renovation. The aim of the project was to preserve period elements such as the original doors and windows and enhance the terrace and surrounding garden.

The project rationalized the spaces, moving the living area to the south and creating an open space, while the sleeping area was positioned to the north. Valuable materials such as the Lombard terracotta floor and the colored cement tiles have been recovered and restored.

The kitchen has become the hub of the living area, with a central block characterized by bright colors and functional both as a kitchen area and as a wardrobe and bookcase. Strategically placed mirrors create unique views and amplify natural light.

In the sleeping area, light and reflections have been emphasized with mirrors, terracotta floors, and colored walls. The master bedroom has a large mirrored wall to expand the view of the surrounding landscape.

The bathrooms and the second bedroom are quieter and monochrome, while the terrace has been covered with polychrome hexagonal cement tiles. Vintage and handcrafted pieces complete the furnishings, creating a bright, colorful environment full of passion and personality.
